Our Story

The Beginning

I had a vision of creating a luxury candle brand that would capture the essence of travel, interior design and art. Alongside this, I wanted to encapsulate my love of wellness and the importance of mindful moments and self care. The way scents evoke memories and moods have always fascinated me. I wanted to create a home fragrance line that would bring a sense of natural beauty and tranquility into people’s homes.

The Process

I spent years researching and testing different waxes, oils and fragrances until I found the perfect combination for a perfect, clean-burning, long-lasting candle with a scent profile that captured the essence of luxury.

Sustainability is something I am very passionate about and I wanted my candles to be crafted using only the finest natural ingredients. We spent a lot of time sourcing each and every component for our products to make sure our candle vessels are completely recyclable and re-usable.

I have always loved supporting local businesses and it was so important for me to find suppliers and artisans in the UK. We wanted to opt for British made wherever possible and to produce locally, to not only ensure the highest quality product for our customers, but also to support British businesses.

The Now

All of our products are handcrafted and hand-poured in a factory in the UK by artisans, sourced from the finest ingredients using traditional techniques. Every fragrance we create is sustainable, luxurious and high quality, to provide the perfect scent addition to any home. Our products are more than just beautiful fragrances, they also act as elegant home decor and once our fragrances are finished, the repurposed vessels serve a second life, we are currently using them as pen pots, make up brush holders, bathroom storage, table floral arrangements and mini plant pots.

Over the years, we have created an inspiring range of scents that offer much more than just a background aroma. Our selection of fragrances consists of carefully considered fruity scents, flowery notes and earthy tones which we source from across the globe. As wellness is one of the core pillars of the Candalia ethos, each fragrance was meticulously curated to enrich the inner self and helps build an ambience that enhances well-being.

Today, Candalia is a luxury candle brand, a beloved fixture in homes and businesses around the world from London.

The Future

In our ever-changing world, we are constantly improving what we offer to our customers. By staying attentive to the changes in our environment, we keep up to date in our mission – “to live a more sustainable life and give back to our Earth”.

Our Candalia products continue to be crafted using only the finest natural ingredients and each one is imbued with the same sense of beauty, tranquillity and sustainable practices that inspired me from the very beginning.
