To enjoy your candle to its fullest, follow these simple yet effective candle care tips:
- Trim the Wick
Before lighting your candle, always trim the wick to 5mm. This helps prevent soot and ensures a clean, even burn. Be sure to allow the candle to cool completely before trimming the wick. - Use a Snuffer
Extinguishing your candle with a snuffer or spoon helps prevent hot wax from splattering and keeps smoke to a minimum. This method also protects the wick, extending the life of your candle. - Burn Evenly
The first burn is crucial—let the wax melt across the entire surface, which can take up to four hours. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures a long-lasting, even burn. To avoid drafts that could disturb the flame, rotate the candle or place it in a sheltered spot.
